Site Development
We take a raw or teardown lot to a site your builder can start on. Clearing, digging, cut and fill, drainage and final grade run on one schedule. Our own dump trucks haul the dirt.
Site preparation is the work that turns a raw lot into ground a builder can build on. We start from the site plan and the grades printed on it. Topsoil comes off, then we cut the high spots down and fill the low areas. The building pad gets compacted in lifts until it holds the weight of a house. Many Tampa lots need clean fill hauled in, because the sand on site rarely builds a pad alone. Our own dump trucks keep that fill on schedule. Pad work is one part of whole-lot site development, which runs from clearing to final grade.
Construction Site Development LLC is a family business run by two brothers, Daniel and Pedro Gonzalez. Site development is in the company name, and it has been our core since the LLC formed in 2018. Daniel is out on job sites himself, often behind the wheel of one of our dump trucks. We came up in a family construction background and run our own excavators, skid steers, loaders, and compactors. We are a registered motor carrier, so our own trucks haul fill in and dirt out. We run out of the Citrus Park area of Tampa. Our trucks cover Tampa Bay, from Pinellas up into Pasco.

Work starts with the survey stakes and the plans. We check the existing grade against the finished floor elevation, then figure out how much dirt has to move. Topsoil and roots come off, because organic material under a pad will settle later. Lots with trees or an old slab get land clearing first. Then we cut the lot down or bring fill up until the subgrade is close. Our excavators and skid steers do the shaping, and a wheel loader feeds the spread. The last pass is fine work, where the pad gets trimmed to the number on the plan.
Compaction is what makes the pad hold. We place fill in lifts instead of one deep dump. Each lift gets rolled or packed with a plate compactor. Around a stem wall we backfill the same way, so the ground beside the slab stays put. A third-party engineer runs the density testing and issues the pad certification. We build the pad to the spec that testing is based on, and we fix any area that fails. Once the pad passes, your slab crew can start on it.
Price comes down to how much dirt moves and how far it travels. A flat lot that needs a small pad is quick work. A lot that sits low needs truckloads of fill, and every load is a round trip. Clearing changes it too, since trees and old slabs have to come out before grading starts. Access matters on infill lots, because a tight driveway slows every machine down. Soil is another driver, since sandy ground and a high water table can change how a pad gets built.
Estimates are free. Send us the site plan or the survey if you have one. We can price the dirt work straight off the drawings. If your project is earlier than that, we come out and look at the ground first. The estimate lays out how much material moves and what the pad takes. Deeper digs for footers or utility lines fall under our excavation service. Call 813-453-5883 or email the plans over, and we will put a number to it. If the scope changes once we are digging, we tell you before the work goes ahead.
Most of our pads go in on infill lots with houses on both sides. Those jobs run on inches. We keep machines inside the property lines and plan where trucks stage before the first load shows up. Silt fence and a rock tracking pad go in before the dirt starts moving. We haul the extra dirt out as we go, because a narrow lot has no room to pile it. The driveway and fence next door end the day the way they started.
Builders usually call us before the survey stakes go in, and that timing works well. We schedule the pad so it is ready when your slab crew is, and we hold that date. If the plumber roughs in under the slab, we grade around it and come back for the backfill. Homeowners building one house get the same setup, and we explain what happens each day. You deal with Daniel or Pedro, and the answer comes off the job site. If rain pushes the schedule, you hear about it that day.

Our own excavators, skid steers, and dump trucks. The teardown, the dirt work, and the hauling stay with one company, so the schedule holds.
Debris goes out on our trucks. The ground gets graded flat, the street gets cleaned up, and the lot is ready for whatever comes next.

We do land grading on residential lots across Tampa Bay. Our excavators and skid steers cut the high spots and fill the low ones. The finished slope carries storm water away from your foundation and out to the street or a swale.
We deliver fill dirt across Tampa Bay in our own dump trucks. Most dirt pits drop the load and leave. We bring the machine too, so the fill gets spread and packed down where you want it.
Two brothers run the company and carry on their family's work in the construction field. One of them is on the job sites himself. The people who price your job are the people who do it.
Our own dump trucks run under USDOT 3805736, and our own excavators and skid steers do the loading. Debris leaves on our schedule, not a bin company's. The teardown and the haul-off are one job and one price.
Demolition, clearing, excavation, grading, fill and the pad, handled by the same team in one sequence. No waiting on a second sub to show up. The lot moves from standing house to build-ready ground without a handoff.
We run out of the Citrus Park area of Tampa and work Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties every week. Short runs mean machines show up when we said they would. Call and you get an owner, not a call center.
